General Rental Conditions “La Maison”

Check-out: 06:00 to 11:00

Rental Payment
The rental payment is made by bank transfer at the time of booking. If you cancel at least 30 days before the start date of the rental, the amount will be refunded to the account from which you paid. If you cancel after 30 days, the reservation amount will not be refunded.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of €200 is required upon arrival, to be paid in cash. The deposit will be fully refunded in cash upon departure, provided no damage has been noted in the property.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on the premises.
To Remember
– A maximum of 6 people is allowed on the premises.
– Sofas are not to be used as beds.
– BBQs are not allowed.
– Guests should avoid making noise between 22:00 and 08:00.
– Parties/events are not allowed.
This accommodation is managed by a private individual. The European consumer protection standards applicable to hotel professionals may not apply.
1/ The client signing this contract for a specified duration will not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain in the property beyond the agreed period.
2/ The reservation becomes effective once the owner has received the payment on their bank account and confirmed the reservation by email. Without this email confirmation from the owner, the reservation is not contractual. In case of cancellation by the owner, no compensation can be claimed by the client. The owner commits to refunding the full reservation amount if the fault does not lie with the tenant.
3/ For reservations made by mail, phone, or internet, the client does not benefit from a withdrawal period, in accordance with Article L121-20-4 of the Consumer Code concerning accommodation services provided on a specified date or according to a specified periodicity.
4/ Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter to the owner at least 30 days before the start of the rental. After this date, amounts paid are non-refundable.
5/ The deposit, if any, becomes non-refundable and remains with the owner. The owner may request the balance of the stay price if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the scheduled start date of the stay.
6/ If the client does not show up within 24 hours of the scheduled start date of the stay, this contract becomes null and void, and the owner may dispose of their property. The amounts paid remain with the owner.
7/ In case of a shortened stay, the initial stay price remains with the owner. No refund will be made.
8/ The client must arrive on the specified day and hours mentioned in this contract. In case of late or deferred arrival, the client must notify the owner.
9/ The client must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the purpose of the premises.
10/ If the number of people arriving at the property exceeds the maximum capacity of 6 people, the owner has the right to refuse additional persons. This refusal cannot be considered a modification or breach of the contract by the owner, and no refund can be requested.
11/ The client is responsible for all damages caused by them. They are encouraged to take out insurance for these various risks.
12/ Any disputes between the owner and tenants will be handled exclusively by the courts in Tournai, Belgium.
13/ The rental address is Hameau d’Honnevain 23-24, 7522 Blandain, Belgium.
14/ The rental is for the property “La Maison,” which includes on the ground floor a living room, dining room, and fully equipped open-space kitchen, a toilet, and a laundry room with a washing machine and ironing accessories. Also on the ground floor is access to a fenced terrace equipped with a table and 6 chairs. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms with double beds (140/200 cm), each with a wardrobe and hangers. There is a shower room with a toilet. Parking is free in front of the property, respecting municipal parking rules.
15/ The contract is electronically signed by checking the box on the reservation form and clicking validate. It is impossible to confirm the reservation without accepting the contract.
